Well, another year’s coming, something new starts so let’s use it to our advantage and make the best of it. There is always something new to be discovered, something old to be improved, something interesting to be followed. I wish you to be healthy, satisfied and open-minded.

Have you ever heard a smell?
A few weeks ago I coincidentally came around two interesting articles dealing with a phenomenon I’ve never heard about and which I find really interesting. Synesthesia. Does it ring a bell with you? We all have 5 senses and they operate independently of one another. But there are people whose senses are combined in such a way that they can e.g. taste sound, see coloured numbers or letters of the alphabet, hear smells, see colours when hearing musical tones or sounds generally, etc. Any senses and any number of them can be combined but commonly just two of them are involved. Pink variations
I will never grow tired of taking photographs of flowers as they are so beautiful. These were taken in August in my mother-in-law’s garden. Echinacea visited by a bumblebee with its wonderful pollen coat… Hibiscus bathed in sun’s rays… And Hydrangea, one of my favourite flowers…

At the eleventh hour
Some time ago I read in English “The Woman in White” by Wilkie Collins and really liked the story and its characters. PF 2011
Some time ago I subscribed to a scrapbooking course via the Internet. I wanted to improve my skills in using the Adobe Photoshop Elements software that I use for editting my photos and for making occasional scrapbook pages. The course is great, but it takes all the time I have for sitting at my computer, so I haven’t been able yet to continue my Kozel castle series. Autumn is gone, there is snow everywhere and I can see I am running late… I hope that I will catch up with your blogs as soon as possible but for the time being, let me wish you a wonderful Christmas time and a happy year 2011. Credits for…

Fraction of time
Cars. Yellow, blue, green, grey, cars of more colours and shades than you would be able to imagine right now. New, old, battered, polished, scuffed, cars of various age and condition. Cars moving fast as though jets flied past you, cars full of energy and enthusiasm, cars moving slowly with grace or breathing strenuously with an obvious effort. Cars following shapes of roads, roads narrow or wide, straight or crooked, roads bathed in sunshine and roads hiding in darkness. Cars driven by different types of people – young, old, scowling, laughing or just whistling a tune. People of different races, people dressed in business suits, expensive robes, patchy jackets or…
