Kozel castle – Part 1
The official website of the castle Kozel states that this castle is the most visited castle in western Bohemia. On the one hand I wonder whether this statement might be biased but on the other hand I find it easily believable. I love the castle with its beautiful garden and park and I like to come back from time to time. Sumacs and a piece of good advice
We went shopping on Sunday afternoon because our supplies of food were almost exhausted and moreover, our children needed new shoes for approaching winter. Sněžka is the highest summit of the Czech Republic and it was crowded by ascending and descending people both from the Czech and Polish side. We went on the top by a cable way and then walked along the range. I loved the boundary stones showing where the border between the Czech Republic and Poland is. I found…

Nature trail by Nebílovy
At the end of March the weather started to be nicer with clear blue sky (at least from time to time), higher temperatures and more positive feelings. I and my husband wanted to go on a family outing and so we buried ourselves in Internet and maps to find an interesting target. We wanted to choose some shorter trail for the start and in the end I found out a suitable one in a brochure describing local nature trails. When Saturday came we packed cameras, drinks and snacks and set off after the dinner. The nature trail starts and ends in one place, by a castle in Nebílovy. The castle was unfortunately…
