Focused on photography Out there By Petra Pavlátková 2017-04-11 2018-01-25 black and white, Čestmír Suška, DEPO 2015, my reflections, observation tower, Pilsen (Plzeň) When I created the image above, I thought that it wouldn’t need any accompanying words, that it tells a story of its own. Perhaps a different story for each of us… Can you hear it? Air Park Spring in and around the village 20 Comments Robin aka @thegothamgirl 2017-04-11 at 22:05 2 years ago What an amazing image! Can totally hear it. Petra Pavlátková 2017-04-12 at 18:49 2 years ago Robin, thank you. I’m pleased it speaks to you as well! Susan 2017-04-12 at 00:19 2 years ago Wow! loud & clear!! Petra Pavlátková 2017-04-12 at 18:50 2 years ago Susan, I’m pleased to hear that! Barb 2017-04-12 at 00:46 2 years ago What an interesting image Petra. I like following all the curves. A great b & w shot. Petra Pavlátková 2017-04-12 at 18:52 2 years ago Barb, thank you, I’m pleased you find it interesting even when no words are attached. Linda @ To Behold the Beauty 2017-04-12 at 01:15 2 years ago It IS an interesting image, Petra; but, unfortunately, it’s not telling its story to this unimaginative mind of mine. 🙂 Petra Pavlátková 2017-04-12 at 18:54 2 years ago Linda, I’m pleased you find the image interesting even though you don’t hear anything. You might try to figure out what exactly it is that you find interesting… Tammie 2017-04-13 at 03:48 2 years ago What I like about this image is all the curved lines and shades of gray and texture. It is quite dynamic. Petra Pavlátková 2017-04-13 at 19:30 2 years ago Pleased to hear that there is something you like in the image, Tammie. I find it interesting that despite all the black, there is so much to look at. Ginnie 2017-04-13 at 08:41 2 years ago I suppose everyone sees something different, Petra! I started counting all the circles I could find. 🙂 Petra Pavlátková 2017-04-13 at 19:34 2 years ago I definitely agree, Ginnie. I can see the curves and textures but above all the dark and light, the possibilities and their (in)accessibility… Roy Norris 2017-04-14 at 11:44 2 years ago Oddly enough, in my mind I can hear an echo Petra. Petra Pavlátková 2017-04-16 at 20:56 2 years ago Roy, thank you for letting me know. That’s quite unique and interesting! 🙂 RuneE 2017-04-16 at 18:56 2 years ago In this case I prefer seeing to listening – you have me running in circles 🙂 Well done! Petra Pavlátková 2017-04-16 at 21:01 2 years ago Thank you, Rune. Hopefully, you will find your way out! 🙂 Carola Bartz 2017-04-16 at 19:30 2 years ago That is a very interesting and fascinating image. I wonder what you’re photographing through. Great perspective and a photo that makes you stop. Petra Pavlátková 2017-04-16 at 21:08 2 years ago Carola, thank you for the praise, I’m pleased that you like the image. The photo was taken through a small opening in an iron piece of art and although the observation tower in the view was larger, the perspective changed it all. Sarah Laurence 2017-04-23 at 16:07 2 years ago Gorgeous composition and fine choice to go black & white! Petra Pavlátková 2017-04-23 at 17:57 2 years ago Sarah, thank you. I felt that the black & white version looked much more dramatic and interesting than the colours did! Leave a Reply Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
