PF 2015

2014 is over and when I look back at it, I can see so many things that challenged me, enriched me and pushed me forward. We may be a year older but also we are a year more experienced and that counts. I became strongly aware of the fact that circumstances of our lives are never ideal but offer us many chances to grow personally and follow our dreams. And learn or develop something we should have done years ago but perhaps needed to grow up to it.

I didn’t share many posts on this blog in 2014 but I’m pleased to say that I successfully finished my 52-week photography project I started at the beginning of the year and those of you who didn’t follow it throughout the year may have a look at the wrap-up post HERE.

2015 has just begun and whether you have entered it filled with resolutions or just decided to stay open to what the New Year will bring, I wish you to have strength and courage at your side.

  1. Beautiful perceptions Petra…I have learned much the same about life offering us chances to grow and dream. Wishing you a joyous, blessed and wonderful New Year as you broaden your horizons too!

    1. Donna, thank you. I’ve been taking photos for many years but it became a hobby just a few years ago. I wish it happened much earlier in my life but I’m happy it’s something I can develop now as well. It’s never late to start something and don’t look back. Have a good year!

  2. Hi Petra – Nice new look here at your place. Wishing you the best in 2015 and everywhere in like we always have the chance to grow. The New Year gives us that opportunity to grow and dream. WE just have to take the horse by the reins and ride like the wind, eh. Best to you in 2015.

  3. Absolutely, Petra. It's been fun following your 52-week photography project. BRAVA to you for sticking with it and finishing it. I'm proud of you. I feel so ready and open to and for this new year. For one thing, I get a new left knee next week and that thrills me to no end. I'll be able to walk again! YAY. 🙂 Happy New Year to us all.

  4. Happy New Year, Petra!
Sorry for my ignorance but I haven't noticed your photography project. I'll be back to the wrap-up post soon.
I wish you a fruitful and productive year.

  5. Hope you find this year to a creative one for you after all the hard work you put in last year, it was a great series that grew on me with every post and I looked forward to seeing it.
You mentioned that you hadn't put many posts on this site last year but you put me to shame as I published less than that. My 2015 resolution is to clear out a lot of unnecessary things from the house which was prompted by buying an extra wardrobe to make the second bedroom tidy.

    1. J, thank you. I’m very pleased that my photo project got so much of your attention, I really appreciated your analytical comments. I’ve just finished the first module of the Art of Photography course I enrolled on and I find that the course makes me feel motivated and inspired, which is great. Next to all the theory which is mandatory there are some additional practical tasks which I decided to accomplish later when there will be a suitable opportunity and I’m really looking forward to those captures. 🙂

I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you to fulfil your resolution. Less is sometimes more than much, a cluttered place as well as cluttered mind may limit us enormously. Have a great year!
