  1. This is just great Petra. This is one of those occasions when a little bit of 'Noise' on the image really makes it work.
    If it had been a smooth shiny surface it just would have not been right to much glare etc.

    1. J, thank you, I’m pleased you like the composition. I know that technically the photo is not perfect but I liked that composition too and tried to experiment a bit with the post processing to give the image three dimensional look which I find attractive at a photo like this.

  2. I'm always intrigued by the analytical comments of some of your readers, Petra. I find myself just enjoying the photographs without really analyzing what it is about them that I find pleasing. But I know that you're seeking constructive comments so that you can continue to improve your photographic techniques. Anyway, I do find this image pleasing. I just couldn't have told you why. 🙂

    1. Linda, thank you. I appreciate both types of comments, the analytical and non-analytical ones. It helps to know which detail – whether in composition, settings or post-processing – is appreciated and it also helps to know that the photo is “just” liked. 🙂
