      I understand both the hesitation and speed you speak about. To me it’s a challenge to photograph strangers [as well as their dogs :)] and though I used my 250 mm lens here, which enabled me some distance, I felt awkward to aim my camera at people there. But one becomes accustomed to it, I’m sure now. Stepping out of the comfort zone needs to be repeated to get under the skin.
