There are so many lines, angles and vanishing points. Petra Pavlátková 2014-06-10 at 21:48 5 years ago Cheryl, thank you. I like your mention of the vanishing points… 🙂 Gail Dixon 2014-06-09 at 23:03 5 years ago Such a neat contrast between the lush fields and electrical lines. Wonderful! Petra Pavlátková 2014-06-10 at 21:52 5 years ago Gail, thank you. First I wanted to capture just the field but couldn’t resist the giants. 🙂 Roy Norris 2014-06-11 at 02:38 5 years ago That is a great shot Petra. I particularly like the 'Aerial Perspective'. Petra Pavlátková 2014-06-11 at 21:49 5 years ago Roy, thank you, I’m pleased you like it. Linda at To Behold The Beauty 2014-06-11 at 16:37 5 years ago Very, very nice, Petra. I like the gently undulating field with its neat rows of crops, with the haze, trees, and hillsides in the background, and everything capped off by the immense power lines. It's another beautiful photograph. Petra Pavlátková 2014-06-11 at 21:55 5 years ago Linda, thank you. For the first time in my life I got up at 5 a.m. to go and take a photo… but it seems it was worth it. J_on_tour 2014-06-22 at 23:05 4 years ago So much going here, I notice that no-one has commented over the edge on that one. The first thing I noticed was the comparison between the lines in the grass and the looping aerial wires. The ethereal background gives another superb background feel.If it was my photo, I couldn't live with the high foreground horizontal wires, a step too far for me. However with another look at the the image, it may work due to the two pylons being different in construction. Petra Pavlátková 2014-06-23 at 21:20 4 years ago J, thank you for sharing your point of view. I understand what you mean regarding those horizontal wires and agree with you, they may look like disturbing the scenery. I can’t imagine how I could get rid of them and keep the scenery at the same time. I might have tried to delete them in post processing. Or rather I should have found another perspective but there wasn’t much time as the sun was rising way too quickly. Maybe next time… Frankly, there are too many wires in my opinion anyway so I shrugged that issue off… 🙂 Leave a Reply Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
